Questions gyms ask about trampoline beds
What is a 4x4 trampoline bed (FIG bed)?
A 4x4 bed, often called a FIG bed, is a competition web bed woven from 4 mm nylon bands with 4 mm gaps. It is the bed used at FIG-level trampoline events: it gives a fast, powerful bounce and a consistent feel from the center to the edges. Our 4x4 mm bed is made to FIG competition dimensions, 14' x 7' (428 x 214 cm).
Will this bed fit my trampoline?
It fits standard 7x14 competition trampoline frames, including Gaofei frames and other FIG-dimension competition frames such as Eurotramp. Tell us your frame's make and model when you request a quote and we'll confirm the fit and spring count before we ship.
4x4 mm web bed vs 6 mm bed vs string bed: which do I need?
4x4 mm web beds are the competition standard for advanced and elite athletes. 6 mm web beds are a little softer and are common for training. String beds are the traditional US-style bed. If your athletes compete at USA Gymnastics trampoline events, a 4x4 mm bed matches what they'll jump on at meets.
How much does a competition trampoline bed cost?
Our 4x4 mm 7x14 competition bed is $2,875 and our double mini bed is $1,100. Imported European web beds of the same type commonly list for well over twice that. Shipping is quoted to your gym.
Do you sell springs and frame pads too?
Yes. Competition trampoline springs are $9 each, double mini springs are $9 each, and a full set of 7x14 frame pads is $950.
Where do you ship from?
Rancho Santa Margarita, California. We ship to gyms across the US.
